At First Names Group we believe our people are our greatest asset and we’re on the hunt for fresh new talent to join us; high-potential individuals ready to kick-start their career.
First Names Group is a leading, independently minded provider of trust, fund, real estate and corporate services. But above all, we’re a people business.
A career at First Names Group is not just a job, it’s a journey. We take the time to get to know you, invest in your training and development, and help you to be the best you can be.
All of our ‘First Names’ benefit from a comprehensive and individually tailored training programme encompassing professional accreditation, soft skills, leadership development, coaching and technical training.
We support personal goals and celebrate achievements beyond the workplace. We create working environments which support and encourage open, honest discussion and collaboration. This has created a unique, vibrant company culture that we believe is central to our continued success.
Our careers development programmes are different to most. For one thing, we don’t have a set way of working. If you think we can do things better or more efficiently, we want to hear about it. And that’s not all. It will be very much down to you to seek out new opportunities for our business, for your projects and for your career. We think that’s far more rewarding than us creating the programme for you.
To be successful you’ll need to be full of drive and ambition. You certainly won’t be afraid of responsibility – in fact, you’re the kind of person who craves it. We offer real freedom here and you’ll know how to make the most of it. Full of initiative and a top-notch communicator, you won’t just come up with ideas; you’ll find ways to make them happen. And because this is an open, collaborative culture, where there is a huge importance placed on building relationships, you’ll be as happy listening to the ideas of others as you are sharing your own. You’ll be warm and friendly in your approach and you’ll actively seek out people rather than waiting for them to come to you.

First Names Group is proud to sponsor the ‘One to Watch’ category in Target Jobs' Undergraduate of the Year awards.
Working closely with Target Jobs, we named and developed this exciting new category for the 2017 awards. It seeks UK based undergraduates who are entrepreneurial, resourceful, collaborative and not afraid to shake things up.
In line with our culture and DNA, we don’t just want to hear about entrants’ academic achievements. We’re looking for smart, fun, interesting people with the passion and commitment to make a difference. Skills and experience matter of course, but we find personality and drive far more important.
In return, we offer our winner a 10-week paid internship at First Names Group including a trip to our Hong Kong office.
Our 2017 winner, Alex Stickler, and successful finalists, Adam Tilley and Shannon Balram, have all blogged about their experiences on the Undergraduate of the Year website. Read their posts for first-hand insights into what First Names Group has to offer its Undergraduate of the Year interns: Alex, Adam, Shannon
