Next month our Global Head of Outsourced Business Services, Tariq Husain, will be participating in a panel discussion at the 2015 fDi Forum in London.
The one-day conference, entitled ‘Unlocking the Potential of a Global Investment’, takes place on 24 September and will build on the success of last year’s inaugural event. It brings together CEOs, CFOs, managing directors and other key decision-makers from the corporate sector, along with select representatives from the public sector and other experts in cross-border investment, to debate the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) environment and examine how to successfully navigate the challenges of investing in a new territory.
In the 2.30pm breakout panel discussion chaired by Mergermarket’s Group Editor-in-Chief, Giovanni Amodeo, Tariq will be discussing the topic of financing cross-border expansion. Along with his fellow panelists, he will seek to answer questions such as: What are the trends in financing cross-border expansion? How do you leverage capital markets? What special financing needs to SMEs have, and what types of lenders are filling the gap? What support is there for companies expanding cross-border? How do you overcome the challenges of outsourcing cross-border?
With 20 years’ experience in outsourcing, tax, business development, capital markets and real estate funds, Tariq will be well placed on this panel. His extensive expertise spans multiple jurisdictions and a wide variety of regulated sectors. As Global Head of Outsourced Business Services at First Names Group, Tariq works with multinational businesses looking to expand into new markets who need back office support in critical compliance areas such as accounting, tax, HR and payroll, corporate secretarial, director and domiciliary services.
