Name: Chloe Torode

Job title: Assistant Fund Administrator

Department: Moore Management (Funds)

Location: Guernsey

When did you join Moore Management? October 2016

What made you choose Moore Management? When I came for my interview I was made to feel really at ease. They made a great impression on me.

What makes Moore such a special place to work? The team is so supportive; they will do everything they can to help you.

What is the best thing about your job? I love helping out my colleagues with anything that I can.

What professional qualifications are you doing? None just yet as I’ve only recently started my career at Moore, however I am interested in taking on the ICSA qualification in the future.

Where do you see yourself in five years’ time? I am not too sure where I see myself in five years’ time. I like to live in the moment and do spontaneous things!

What do you do to unwind? To unwind I tend to ride my horse. I like to get out and see Guernsey’s beautiful coast. Everything is better on horseback!

What’s the office social scene like? I haven’t been with the business very long, but from what I have seen so far, the social scene is really good. Everyone makes such an effort to get to know you and include you. Just after I started, Moore organised a meal for the new starters. It was a lovely evening out.

What did you want to be when you were 10? I really wanted to be a jockey, riding the famous horse Black Beauty!

What’s your favourite possession? My favourite possession has to be my Abarth car. If you save for what you want, you can do anything.

Favourite drink? A cup of tea, every time.

Night on the town or on the sofa? Night on the sofa!
