Harold Janssen is Head of Corporate Services, The Netherlands for First Names Group. He is a key member of the corporate services leadership team, responsible for driving the growth strategy and business development initiatives for our corporate services proposition in the Netherlands. He oversees the management and operational delivery of the corporate business unit, ensuring client delivery standards are met and that appropriate risk management and compliance processes are adhered to within the Dutch business.
Do the right thing, even when nobody is watching.
Harold has over 19 years’ experience in guiding multi-jurisdictional companies to greater efficiency and profitability. Having trained and progressed to a senior level with a ‘Big 4’ audit firm, Harold then decided he wanted to sit on the other side of the table and proceeded to hold a series of in-house financial leadership positions for growing international software and gaming businesses. In 2012 he joined the corporate services industry and found himself in the best of both the audit and business worlds. As well as fulfilling his role as director of a prominent international corporate service provider, he also set up his own management consultancy supporting SMEs and large organisations with financial matters, general management and process improvements. Harold’s qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in business economics and a Master’s in accounting and auditing.
IN THREE WORDS:
Harold prides himself on working collaboratively to deliver best-in-class professional services to help his clients move forward and grow. Committed to doing the right thing, always, he enjoys rolling up his sleeves to get things done and achieve goals. He particularly enjoys working with Declan Kenny for his contagious enthusiasm and empowering approach, and Oonagh Hayes for her candid yet always good advice.
Outside of the office, Harold loves a broad variety of music, from classical to contemporary pop – his only criteria is that it be performed with passion and excellence. His favourite place on Earth is the beautiful Interlaken in Switzerland, a city between two lakes and surrounded by the Alps, and his bucket list includes visiting the pyramids in Egypt, conducting a philharmonic orchestra and going on safari with his son.
