Zoë Hillis is a Trust Manager in Jersey, where she and her team look after a range of private clients, trusts and companies with a particular focus on property investment and development. A true team player, Zoë is a firm believer in ‘the whole is greater than the sum of its parts’.
It’s all about perspective and balance.
Zoë entered the industry through banking. She was attracted by the career opportunities in the fiduciary sector and she’s never looked back since she set foot on this path over a decade ago. On any given day, Zoë could be involved in an investment in Singapore or a complicated property transaction in the UK. It’s this variety that keeps her professionally on her toes and she thrives on it.
IN THREE WORDS:
Zoë likes to deal in facts, but she also enjoys balancing risks with rewards. Diligent and thoughtful, she always looks for the best solutions for her clients. With a diploma from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) under her belt, Zoë has now set her sights on having a complete understanding of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) and Common Reporting Standard (CRS) through a course offered by STEP.
A native of Jersey, Zoë loves walking her dog Bruno on the island’s stunning beaches in her spare time. She also enjoys cooking and travelling – preferably a combination of the two. High on her bucket list are skydiving, going on an ethical safari and setting up a dog sanctuary.
